THE BEGINNING EXPERIENCE
The Beginning Experience is a spiritually based weekend for those who have experienced loneliness, rejection, hurt and pain through the loss of a partner by bereavement, separation or divorce. A time to share with others who have experienced loss and who care. A time to heal by experiencing God’s love through others. A time to begin again. Today is Education Sunday - a national day of prayer and celebration for everyone involved in the world of education. For more than 100 years there has been an annual recognition of Education Sunday in England and Wales, traditionally on the ninth Sunday before Easter.
God is the source of all wisdom and knowledge.
Let us ask him to bless those who seek to learn and their teachers.
For students - that the Spirit of God may grant them
the gifts of wisdom of understanding.
For teachers - that they may share their knowledge
with gentleness, patience,
and concern for their students.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
